| Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) officials announced Monday morning that the company will start selling a "completely redesigned" version of its Mac Mini computer, which is priced at $699 and up. The Mac Mini is a more energy-efficient computer with higher resolution graphics Apple said in a statement, however, the Mini does not come with a monitor, keyboard, or mouse. Online pre-orders of the iPhone 4 also started earlier today, but customers are experiencing website crashes due to pre-order-overload on Apple and AT&T Inc's (NYSE:T) respective sites. Many Apple fans are also disappointed that they are not able to pre-order the white iPhone 4 model, and have to opt for the black 16 or 32GB model if they try to pre-order today. Pre-orders of the smart phone will be delivered for free to customers June 24th, the same day as in-store sales kick off. Shares of Apple are trading up 1.35% Monday morning at $257.69, as are shares of AT&T, which are up .64% at $25.33. |
